The Most Common Confession About Maintaining a Healthy Diet
Can I let you in on a not-so-secret secret?
Almost everyone struggles with sticking to their healthy diet from time to time.
Yes, even me.
In fact, it seems like every day/week, a client (or potential client) confesses that it’s their #1 issue getting in the way of their health and wellness goals.
That’s why this month I’ll be sharing a lot of time-tested tips to make eating a healthy diet easier to stick to.
Sound good? Good!
The thing is, what a person eats matters a lot. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that food quality vs quantity is right at the top of the list.
And, a person's eating habits can:
- Help them live longer with a higher quality of life
- Boost their immunity
- Save them money at the grocery store
- Help them reach & maintain a healthy weight
- Support their muscles and bones
- Keep their skin, teeth, and eyes healthy
- Lower their risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers
- Help their digestive system do its job
- Support healthy pregnancies & breastfeeding
Not to mention, making wise food quality choices, gives more energy, cuts down on aches & pains, helps people sleep better, and improve their workout performance and recovery.
Pretty amazing.
Here’s an easy tip to get you started:
Every time you make dinner, make extra! This way you have leftovers ready and waiting for you for lunch or tomorrow night’s dinner.
So instead of cooking up a single pound of ground beef/turkey/lamb/pork for tonight’s tacos, double it.
Yes, it really can be that simple — and that is why it works so well.
And by the way, if you want a delicious taco bowl recipe, you can find one in my brand new recipe book, Fast & Easy Meal Prep Recipes (it’s FREE!).
