I ask my clients: “How will you feel in January?”

You know I am a big believer in being “in the moment,” right?

It’s huge for helping us relieve stress, focus on what’s important, and get the most out of every day.  But ...

I HAVE AN IMPORTANT EXCEPTION

And it has to do with something I hear every ... single ... year from my clients.

Here's a thought experiment I do with them:

Pretend it’s January 1st right now.

How are you going to feel if you use the holidays as an excuse to put your health and wellness on the back burner?

And not just on the back burner …. but ended up going BACKWARDS?

Did you know that the average person expects to gain SEVEN POUNDS over the holiday season?!

WOW.

Based on my experience as a nutrition coach, I can tell you how most people feel after doing this powerful thought experiment.

They feel like they’ve lost ground on any progress … they’ll feel tired … more bloated … their clothes will be tighter … and, yes, they’ll probably feel regretful.

It’s not a good spot to be in.

The good news is that I support my clients to make a few small changes NOW (and provide them with daily accountability) so they don’t end up in the majority of people who let their health and fitness slide.

It’s all about keeping things REALISTIC to keep themselves on track ... with my help and supportive attention.

Which leads me to a little assignment that I give to my clients.  Maybe you'll be inspired to play along?

Take two minutes right now … and think about how much time YOU can devote to your self-care through the holidays.  Remember that self-care isn't all warm bubble baths and candles.  It's also making the tough choices when faced with temptations and social pressure ... because you have a bigger goal in mind, right?

What can you realistically commit to?

Is it 3 x 30-minute workouts a week?  An hour of meal prep twice a week?

Can you commit to getting 7-8 hours of sleep each night?  Staying hydrated?  Choosing only your favorite treats (and leaving the rest for someone else)?

Whatever it is, schedule it into your planner... then do the plan.

Not only will you feel better, have more energy, sleep better, and actually ENJOY the holiday season more …

But you’ll build momentum to kick off 2022 strong and in control.

SO … what specific actions are you going to commit to starting THIS WEEK?

And you know what?

Telling someone else (accountability with an experienced coach!) makes it more likely that my clients actually follow through ... they know that I'm going to be asking them about their daily choices.

Send me an email to jessica@momentumtransformations.com and let's start a conversation about what you're going to choose to do to stay on track this month!

Accountability and support go a long way toward helping my clients be CONSISTENT with their healthy habits.  So is having a plan that works with their lifestyle.

That’s what my 1:1 Personal Nutrition/Fitness Program is all about.  It’s designed for busy women who spent years putting their career/spouse/children ... and now even their PARENTS first – they want to achieve a body that's FUN to live in again while there's still time.
